RPA has been strongly hyped over the past few years as a seemingly quick and easy way to significantly reduce the operating costs of business processes. Lately, this mood has turned into disillusionment, when it became known that many RPA deployments had failed – or have at least not lived up to expectations. So, is this technology just not delivering? PAC argues that in order to benefit from RPA, organizations have to understand that the technology’s implementation is more complex than many are led to believe.
